We are situated on the eastern side of the Hartbeespoort Dam surrounded by the majestic Magaliesberg Mountain range and only a short distance from the major towns of Gauteng making it an ideal weekend getaway spot. We are 30 minutes drive from Johannesburg, Fourways and Randburg and 20 minutes on the toll road from Pretoria and Rustenburg. We have a grass runway suitable for all light aircraft. The lodge is well secured with a remote controlled gate and patrolling guard at night. There are several golf courses in the area which include Peacanwood, Seasons, Sandy Lane, Magaliespark, Mooinooi and Brits. We are 5km from Miracle Waters for any scuba divers. Hartbeespoort is a brilliant recreational area with an aquarium, zoo, snake park, animal sanctuaries, party boat charters, canopy tours and lovely colourful craft markets. There are many restaurants and pubs in the area including a floating restaurant on the dam. For the children we also have an encloses trampoline, swings, slides and playground.

We have a small heated swimming pool and a large cold swimming pool with a water slide. The sundeck overlooks the swimming pool and we have a large lapa for shade in the hot afternoons. Mountain trails up the mountain provide a lovely view of the area and game can be seen. There is a lovely dam for fishing - catch and release only. We have two horses for experienced riders. Relax at our fully stocked bar and watch sport on our big screen tv. There are also day spa's close by.

We are situated on a microlight training school for scenic views of planes taking off and landing while having coffee or a sundowner on the lovely sundeck overlooking the runway.

B & B Rooms

We have nine rooms with your choice of twin, double or king size beds. Each room has coffee making facilities, fridge, DSTV, air-conditioning and bathroom on suite. The rooms are situated next to the heated swimming pool in a lovely secluded garden area. Besides breakfast we invite guests to bring their own picnic basket and use the communal braai area which is situated next to the outside lapa with plenty of seating facilities and close to the swimming pool with a lovely view during the day and especially in the evenings.

Self Catering Units

We have varied self catering units all with fully equipped kitchens, bath towels with complimentary soaps and gels and only ask guests to bring their own swimming towels or hire towels from reception. The units are alle close to the swimming pools and all have their own braai facilities.

Two sleeper self catering cottages

We have two sleeper self catering units with one bedroom, bathroom on suite, kitchenette and lounge with air-conditioning and DSTV with 18 channels. You have your own veranda with portable braai.

Five sleeper self catering cottage

We have five sleeper self catering cottage, ideal for a family, with three separate bedrooms, one bathroom on suite, one with a double bed and one with a single bed, both sharing a separate bathroom. Air conditioning and tv with a DVD player. Lovely large veranda with a portable braai.

Six sleeper self catering cottages

We have lovely large thatched six sleeper self catering cottages each with two seperate bedrooms, bathroom on suite, and two convertible singles in the lounge. DSTV with 18 channels and veranda with built-in braai. They overlook the microlight runway for a lovely view.

Camping Sites

We have six large camping sites each one separated with wooden poles for complete privacy. The sites have their own ablution facilities with a shower, toilet etc and an outside tiled wash up basin. The sites overlook the large swimming pool and water slide to make it easy to keep an eye on the children.
